Aoife Madden, 30, is a teacher, podcaster and campaigner from Birmingham who as a young woman was diagnosed with the bladder condition known as Fowler's Syndrome. She is currently awaiting her urostomy stoma surgery for the bladder. She is passionate about raising awareness of bladder health, women’s specific health issues, invisible illness, catheters and stomas, as well as, sharing her experiences to help change the narrative around bladder health for young women.

 

Over the past five years, she has built a supportive community online via her personal Instagram (@bisforbladder), hosted a podcast series, and been a part of magazine campaigns, photo shoots and live TV appearances to raise awareness of these important topics.
