Lucy Curran, 30, is a finance manager from Warrington who was diagnosed with cervical cancer at age 28 in 2021. Undergoing medical treatment, she was eventually given the all-clear but in 2022 tests revealed that her cancer had reoccurred. In September 2022 she was prepped for both bowel & bladder surgery potentially requiring two bags but when she woke up they had managed to remove the cancer without needing a colostomy bag for the bowel, just the urostomy bag for the bladder.

 

Lucy is passionate about raising awareness for both Gynaecological cancers and patient advocacy whilst living unapologetically with a stoma bag.
